Ph.D. students are strongly encouraged to submit abstracts for posters.
Prizes for best posters (kindly organised by our sponsors) are planned as below:
Materials Horizons: £100 Poster prize – 1st place
Journal of Materials Chemistry A, B and C: £100 Poster prize – 2nd place
Materials Advances: £100 Poster prize – 3rd place

Non-student (includes Dinner): £150
PhD Student: £0
Optional Conference Dinner: £30
Suggested Accommodation: Reasonably priced accommodation at the DoubleTree by Hilton (4*) and Holiday Inn (3*) near Brayford Pool, within 5-10 minutes walking distance from either the conference venue and the train station.

Abstracts
Notes: All oral presentations consist of 15 min talks + 5 min Q&A.
Posters should be prepared in a A0 format and will be presented during the first day of the conference.
Venue
RAMS 2023 will be hosted at “Joseph Banks Laboratories (JBL)” buildings located on the Brayford campus of the University of Lincoln. The venue can be conveniently reached by a 10 minutes walk from Lincoln city centre and train station. The venue for conference dinner will be announced shortly.
Lincoln can be reached by trains by the North Eastern Railway route (frequent connections to Newark, Peterborough, and Sheffield) and direct trains from London Kings Cross (journey under 2 hours).
If coming by car, JBL can be accessed via Beevor Street entance or via Green Lane from Tritton Road. Please note that the Green Lane entrance to JBL from Poplar Avenue is closed to cars.
